At Cloth & Clay Consignment, we’ve reimagined the traditional consignment experience into a modern, flexible system that gives you full control over how you sell.
Our revolutionary consignment model puts YOU in control!
Cloth & Clay charges a $25 weekly rental fee to rent your own rack or shelf on which you may sell what YOU want at prices that YOU set and keep up to 65% of your sales. There is no up front cost - we will simply deduct this fee from your sales.. We handle the space, rack maintenance, sales staff, hanging, and tagging materials, and marketing.
With a beautiful store space located in a highly populated, centrally located shopping center, you are provided with a prime spot in which to sell your unwanted, pre-loved items, keeping them out the landfill and giving them a second story!
How It Works

Complete the Consignor Agreement first. You’ll then receive an email to set up your personal Vendor Portal within our ConsignCloud software program.

Start adding your items to your portal (category, brand, color, size, price). No need to take photos. You’ll receive tagging supplies when you bring in your items.
Need help? We can input items for you; this option pays up to 50% instead of 65%.

Book your appointment and bring in your items. You’ll have up to one hour to style your space using provided hangers and tags.

Monitor your sales through ConsignCloud and earn up to 65% of your total sales — we handle the rest.
If items aren’t selling as quickly as you’d like, contact us and we will discount your prices as little as 10% to as much as 75% - discounts tend to be very motivating to shoppers and are a great way to move your inventory!

Pick up remaining items within two days, donate them, or renew your rental to keep selling.
Consignment Guidelines
We take pride in keeping our shop beautifully curated, which means we only accept clean, high-quality items.
Accepted Items
✓ Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing
✓ Shoes, handbags, and accessories
✓ Home décor and select housewares
Not Accepted
X Damaged, stained, or odorous items
X Used undergarments (except new with tags or sports bras)
X Weapons, drug and alcohol-related, political, or vulgar items
X Opened, expired, or used food, supplements, or toiletries
X Furniture, unless prior arrangements have been approved.
Condition Standards: All items must be in sellable, wearable, or usable condition. Cloth & Clay reserves the right to remove items that don’t meet these standards.
Your Earnings
You receive up to 65% of all sales during your rental period.
Cloth & Clay retains 35% to cover transaction fees, store costs, promotion & marketing, hangers & tagging materials costs, and selling costs.
Payments are issued electronically via Apple Pay, Cash App, or Venmo. Consignors are responsible for providing us with their payout preference and associated ID.
If a buyer requests a discount on a damaged item, Cloth & Clay reserves the right to adjust the commission accordingly.
End of Rental & Donation Options
At the end of your rental term, you have two options:
Pick Up: Collect any unsold items within two days of your rental ending.
Donate: Select “donate” in your account settings and we’ll take care of the rest!
Items not picked up within two days (and not marked for donation) become property of Cloth & Clay and may be sold or donated at our discretion.
DONATION DROP-OFFS
Don’t have time to consign but still want to support the mission? We gladly accept donations of appropriate items on Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 AM – 1 PM. Please bring donations in shopping bags, boxes, or bins — no trash bags, please!
A portion of proceeds from donated items supports local charities and non-profits.
